The PhonePeace Origin Story
I was getting 10 spam phone calls per day on my landline phone, annoying me and my family. I found out answering these calls puts you on a list to get more spam calls! Ugh! With landline phones, scammers have a direct line into your house.
When my father was in an assisted living facility, he was buying magazines he didn’t want and paying for trips that he would never take! I had enough!
I checked out call blockers that block 10,000 numbers, but scammers can call on millions of different numbers. Then idea hit me—why not accept only the calls you want instead of trying to block millions of unwanted numbers! This is how PhonePeace was born.
When I built PhonePeace, I found it was devastatingly effective eliminating all unwanted calls! Gradually over time scammers stopped calling because we never answered their calls, and they moved on to greener pastures.
I decided to build and sell PhonePeace not because I wanted to make money; I wanted to get back at the scammers who try to ruin your peace and quiet and take money from your loved ones.
